The nation’s largest media convention for pros and college students is sponsored by the Associated Collegiate Press, College Media Association, and Society of Professional Journalists.
MediaFest returns
In 2022 – the last time MediaFest was in DC – nearly 1,500 pros and students attended more than 200 sessions and packed the ballroom to see Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein. Stay tuned for what’s coming this year.
Grand Hyatt again
As in 2022, MediaFest will be hosted at the Grand Hyatt Washington. The newly renovated hotel is a short walk from the National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, White House, and Washington Monument.
Program partners
The Student Press Law Center and Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression will host a dedicated media law room. The Radio Television Digital News Association and Trusting News Project will present a track of sessions.

All attendees can reserve discounted rooms at the Grand Hyatt for $269 per night, a savings of more than $200. Convention registration rates:
